May I become at all times, now and forever
A guard for those without protection
A guide for those who have lost their way
A boat, a raft, a bridge for those who wish to cross the flood
May I be a lamp for those in darkness
A sanctuary for those in danger
A healing salve, a vase of plenty
And a servant to all in need
For as long as the earth and sky endure
And for as long as living beings remain
Until then may I, too, abide
To dispel the misery of the world.
